Kirk Orwell serves as Vice President of Production & Operations at IXULR, where he oversees the company’s global upstream and downstream operational performance. With over 25 years of experience in large-scale energy production, engineering management, and operational excellence, Kirk plays a pivotal role in ensuring IXULR’s assets operate safely, efficiently, and sustainably across all regions.

In his role, Kirk leads teams responsible for optimizing production output, implementing advanced technologies, and maintaining the highest standards of operational integrity and environmental stewardship. His leadership is instrumental in advancing the mission that IXULR holds to deliver reliable, affordable, and increasingly cleaner energy to global markets.

Prior to joining IXULR, Kirk held senior operational and engineering leadership roles at several multinational energy companies, where he successfully led complex offshore and onshore production projects and implemented digital systems that improved reliability and cost efficiency.

Kirk Orwell holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and earned a Master’s in Engineering Management from Rice University. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
